Behavioural
Couples
Therapy

Behavioural Couples Therapy (BCT, also known as Couple CBT) is a form of relationship therapy that can helps couples with a wide range of difficulties.

These include:

Communication

Physical intimacy and sex

Infidelity

Joint decision making

Improving relationship satisfaction

Co-parenting

The approach of BCT is a very practical one. I will help you and your partner understand the negative cycles you experience as well as supporting you in changing these to form more positive and productive behaviours.

Not only does BCT have strong evidence for helping couples, but also helps individuals with depression, anxiety, and other mental health difficulties.

Daniel
Roe

After several years practicing as a CBT Therapist I turned my attention towards working with couples. The complexity of relationships, and interaction between two people, fascinated me.

I quickly found I had a knack for being able to understand complex interactions and patterns, and communicate these with couples, helping them understand the cycles that had developed.

My approach is a practical and empathic one. I always aim to create a strong and unbiased relationship with both parties, in a relaxed atmosphere.

Seeing couples overcome their difficulties and reform meaningful and happy relationships has been incredibly rewarding and still motivates me every day.
